DARKE COUNTY – On Saturday, at approximately 12:22 pm, deputies were dispatched to the 6000 block of Willis Road near Greenville, in reference to shots being fired into a residence.
The incident was part of a domestic dispute at the residence. The suspect was identified as Dante Genovesi (32) of Arcanum. Dante left the area prior to the deputies’ arrival.
A be on the lookout was issued for the suspect and sent to numerous agencies, who assisted in the search for the suspect. The suspect was apprehended by the Georgetown, KY Police without incident.
Dante is charged with Felonious Assault and is waiting for extradition to Darke County.
No one was injured as a result of the shots that were fired.
This incident is still being actively investigated by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
