Why:
• State appropriations are lower than the actual cost to operate the school
• School administration took steps last school year to reduce operating costs to a minimum
• Inflation Cap Credit limits how much local property tax revenue the district collects
Request:
• Vote Yes on November 3rd to support Franklin Monroe Schools 1.25% increase to our income tax levy
• 5-year renewable increase
Results:
• Secures operating funds for Franklin Monroe in upcoming fiscal years

• Within five years, we will have a better idea of the new state funding model
• Franklin Monroe remains Jet Strong!

• Franklin Monroe has the second-lowest income tax within Darke County, Ohio
• Franklin Monroe has not increased the income tax in more than 33 years
