The Greenville High School Athletic Department has announced that the fourth annual
“Night of Champions” will be held on Friday, December 29th. Past championship teams will be recognized in ceremonies held immediately following the boys junior varsity basketball game with Fairborn.
Each year eight teams are chosen for recognition for past accomplishments that resulted in
league, sectional, district, regional, or state honors. By honoring these championship squads it is hoped that they will serve as an inspiration to both present and future Greenville student athletes.
Teams to be honored this year include 1974 SWBL boys golf, 1975 SWBL baseball, 1979 SWBL softball, 1980 SWBL football, 1984 GMVC boys cross country, 1989 GMVC volleyball, 2002 GWOC West and sectional girls basketball, and 2003 GWOC West boys golf.
Members of these teams to be recognized are asked to meet between 6:00 and 7:00 in the
study hall located by the main gymnasium lobby. The Athletic Department asks that
