GREENVILLE – Fitch Ratings has upgraded the long-term Issuer Default Rating and revenue bond ratings of Wayne Hospital Company, dba Wayne HealthCare to BBB- from BB+, while maintaining a Positive Outlook.
The upgrade reflects continued improvement in Wayne HealthCare’s financial and operational performance, including a strengthened balance sheet following the organization’s transition to Critical Access Hospital status, growth in key clinical service lines, improved revenue-cycle performance, and solid cost controls.
