GREENVILLE – The Fish Furniture and Appliance Ministry will officially open its doors on Feb. 8 from 10 am to 2 pm. Individuals and families will be able to browse the large inventory and choose items to help furnish their apartment or home.
The newly formed charitable organization wants the public to know what to expect… We currently are providing home furnishings, appliances, and household items to families in need. We launched in November with a referral system through partnering agencies and starting in February we will be open to the public one Saturday a month.
The open sale day will run kind of like how The Fish Choice Pantry is operated. Clients will need to take a number from the sign and wait in their vehicles. We then will invite each family in according to their number and they will fill out an application.
Each adult in the household needs to provide their picture ID. The clients can then look through our stock and pick up to three items (furniture/appliances) each item will cost $20 and are as is/good used condition.
The clients need to be prepared to take the items with them. We cannot provide delivery services. We will only be open one day a month and that will be the second Saturday of the month.
The Fish Furniture and Appliance Ministry is located at 402 Markwith Ave. in Greenville. If anyone would like to donate appliances or household items or have any questions please call 937-316-8420.
