ANSONIA—The annual Firecracker 5K will begin at 8 a.m.July 4 at the Ansonia Local Schools’ west entrance.
All ages are allowed and can run or walk.
Awards will be given out for: Top three male and top three Female In each age group as well as top 3 male and top 3 female overall; and first-place team overall.
New this year is a dry fit shirt option. And, there are early registration discounts until June 17.
There will be no shirts with registration after June 17. Youth sizes will be available.

“This race is just one of our yearly fundraisers to help the Ansonia Fire Department offset the raising costs of equipment and gear to help us stay safe and to protect and assist the community,” Meadows said.
