Childcare has been identified as a barrier to entry for our workforce. This is not just an area of concern for Darke County but across the State of Ohio. Current stay-at-home family members would work if they had access to affordable quality childcare. And therein lies the main concerns in childcare, available quality childcare, and affordable childcare.
In order to determine what that looks like here in Darke County, we are conducting this “Child Care Survey”. The information that is collected will be used to bring awareness to the shortage of childcare in the county and increase understanding of the underlying obstacles and impact that this shortage has on the workforce and other community concerns.
When you have a moment, please scan the QR code or use the link below to take the survey. It is confidential and voluntary. Responses will not be attributed to an individual, but instead compiled into a data set to investigate general trends. The survey will be open until June 30.
Thank you very much for taking the time to complete this survey. The information you shared will be valuable in assessing the need for quality, affordable childcare in our county.
