GREENVILLE – On Tuesday, at approximately 6:38 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Anderson Avenue in reference to a complaint of shots fired in the listed area. Upon arrival in the area, Officers located a male subject with a suspected gunshot wound.
Officers located a firearm at the scene. Officers and medical personnel were able to confirm the male subject was deceased at the scene. The male subject was located in the area of his residence and this incident does not appear to be criminal in nature.
The investigation remains open, but there do not appear to be any suspects in this case. The area is safe and police have released the scene.
