GREENVILLE – Greenville Elks 1139 invites the public to its Elktoberfest for an evening of live music, food, drinks, and Arrow Gaming under the large tent in the Elks parking lot, Friday, October 25th.

“It is free to the public, no cover charge,” said Elks Club Manager Eric Blumenstock. “Everyone is welcome to hang out with us and enjoy some great music and food.”

Entertainment on tap for the evening will be The Acoustic Juke Box – Matt Osborne beginning at 5 p.m. and The Vintage’3 Band from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The evening will include a Chuck-A-Luck Wheel, a Wheel of Chance, and a big bus from Arrow Gaming with electric bingo machines.

“Everybody gets a chance to try them out in the parking lot,” Blumenstock stated.

“We’re going to have some delicious food,” said Elks Club Manager Eric Blumenstock. “Come out and have fun with some German Heritage and enjoy yourself.”

Bratwursts, knockwursts, smoke sausage, sauerkraut, red cabbage, and German potato salad are on the menu for the evening, along with a beer truck in the Elks parking lot.

“We also will have some great big handled mugs that will say Elktoberfest on the side,” Blumenstock stated. “We’re going to run a special on those. Buy the mug full of beer and then get your refills cheap.”

“We will offer a Hefeweizen and Octoberfest,” he added. “We also are going to have one of the Fall Offerings, and we are going to do some Angry Orchard on that, too.”

“We have a license to open to the public,” noted Blumenstock, “so we are going to try and fill the parking lot with people.”

Donating with the gaming machines and other actions support the Darke Elks Benevolence Group, which donates to various charities throughout the community.”
