Eddie Nolan Puterbaugh, age 74 of Arcanum, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Everheart Hospice Care Center.
He was born on January 29, 1951, in Greenville to the late Edgar and Jewell (McMaken) Puterbaugh.
In addition to his parents, Eddie is preceded in death by his brother, Chris Puterbaugh.
Those left to cherish Eddie’s memory include his loving wife of 40 years, Judith (Sharp) Puterbaugh; children, Curt and Denise Puterbaugh Fourman of Eaton, Ohio, Kim and Randy Baker of New Paris, Ohio, Monica and Dale Alexander of Greenville, Robin Scheiding of Arcanum, and Robert and Lisa Scheiding of Greenville; brother, Jeff and Susan Puterbaugh; grandchildren, Lindsey and Justin Taylor, Megan and Matt Johnson, Troy O’dell, Janee Woodworth, Randy G. Baker, C.W. and Jeni Swihart, Bridget and Nathan Steinmetz, Josh and Anne Weymer, Chyrsten and Josh Gessel, C.J. and Morgan Regelski, and Zech and Victoria Scheiding; 21 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Eddie graduated from Arcanum High School. He retired from working as a truck driver for many years at Classic Carries Inc. Eddie enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, his pets, and his trips to Colorado and Arizona. He had a passion for working on anything he could with his hands, including working in the yard, refinishing antique furniture, and working on cars. More than anything, Eddie loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, with Pastor George Glaze officiating. Burial will follow the funeral service at Ithaca Cemetery.
