Donald E. McCabe, age 96 of West Carrollton, Ohio and formerly of Greenville, Ohio and Miamisburg, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton.
Donald was born November 7, 1928, in Miamisburg, Ohio the son of the late John J. and Alma (Schroeder) McCabe.
Don and his wife Juanita owned and operated Mound Printing Company of Miamisburg. He was also a member at St. John Lutheran Church of Greenville. Don was a lifelong farmer.
Don is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita (Mackey) McCabe. They were married May 1, 1948. He is also preceded in death by his brother, John H. (Maxine) McCabe.
Donald is survived by his children D. Douglas (Nancy) McCabe of West Carrollton and Lynn (Robert) Hamilton of Waynesville, Ohio; grandchildren Scott (Leslie) McCabe, Crystal Potts, Lindsay (Steven) Hippchen and J.J. Potts; great grandchildren, Evan and Carter McCabe; Olive Pape and a boy on the way; as well as and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Alliyah Blakeley officiating.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to the St. John Lutheran Church 7418 State Route 121-N. Greenville, Ohio.
