Dianne Carol (Cole) Gibbons passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Greenville.
Dianne was born on January 4, 1950, in Greenville to the late Glenn & Elaine (Deardoff) Cole. Dianne graduated from Arcanum High School in 1969.
Dianne was also preceded in death by her husband, Lowell H. Gibbons on June 18, 2023, whom she married January 24, 1971; a son, Gary Cole; and three sisters, Janet Cole, Ruthanne Dickey, and Nancy McLamb.
Dianne is survived by two sisters, Janice Martin, and Linda Boyer; two daughters, Sherry Root, and Rita Karnehm of New Weston; grandchildren, Tollis & Krista Quinn, Christion & Jessica (Thompson) Paris, Tiffany Cole, Chase & Jasmine (Thrush) Quinn, and Hunter Root; 7 great-grandchildren, Kloe & Margaret Quinn, Kingston & Roman Quinn, Miah & Violet Paris, Cole Henninger, and Carsyn Cole; three step-grandchildren, Mattix & Joshua Potter, and Carter Myers.
Dianne worked as a home health provider and Neff Lettering prior to retirement. She loved her fat cat, Lokie and playing with her great-grandchildren. She also loved to sing country music.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Brock Cemetery, Brock, with Pastor Tony Price officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville.
