On 12/19/23, Miami County Sheriff’s Office detectives and Piqua Police Department detectives executed a narcotics search warrant in the 700 block of Young Street in the City of Piqua.
The search warrant was the culmination of a lengthy investigation into the trafficking of illegal narcotics. Items seized during the search warrant included cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and approximately $16,000.00 in U.S. currency.
David L. Arnett, age 39, of Piqua, was taken into custody without incident and incarcerated in the Miami County Jail. Arnett was charged with felony trafficking cocaine, felony trafficking marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The investigation is ongoing.
