PHILADELPHIA – The Decolores Montessori 7th-9th grade students experienced their annual destination field trip as a capstone to their education for the school year. This year, they experienced the city of Philadelphia for five days.

Some of the highlights of the trip include Independence Hall, Betsy Ross House, Liberty Bell, Illusion Museum, Longwood Gardens, and the Museum of the American Revolution. The students also volunteered at Sanctuary Farms and attended a 76ers basketball game.

The annual field trip for the 7th-9th grade students at Montessori is a highlight for both students and teachers. It’s an amazing opportunity to connect one-on-one outside of school, while fostering independence and learning.
