It sounds like we’re going to have pretty nice weather this week. I sure hope so,
It will give me more time to plan future events. At the top of my list is the choice of whether or not to continue following the Cincinnati Reds. Why? Because my favorite player, second baseman Jonathan India, is now an infielder for the Kansas City Royals.
I don’t think I could love the game as much with him gone
Even though they still have De La Cruz, it just won’t be the same in my mind. However, I may change my mind if my son Jamie continues to watch it.
When Brandon Phillips, also a second baseman, left the team a few years back, I vowed I would never watch it again but, of course, I did. So we’ll see about this coming year when it comes to the Reds. Maybe, if I can find out how to get the channel that the Royals will be playing on, we can once again see India in action. That would be nice.
I have many more plans for the warmer weather, but we’ll see if they transpire. I want to get organized again, get issues worked out on my physical problems; do lots of activities with special family and friends; and just enjoy life once again.
