GREENVILLE – Dave Knapp Ford hosted an EV Ride and Drive allowing residents to test drive an electric vehicle (EV).
“I want to thank everyone for coming out and taking the time to check them out, review them, drive them, and get your input on them,” said Dave Knapp. “It is the wave of the future and there is a need for this type of vehicle.”
Dave Knapp Ford has six Mach-E autos and two F150 Lightning Ford pickup trucks at the Greenville location for viewing and test driving.
“You never have to go to a gas station,” said Dave Knapp customer service coordinator, Kelsey McClure. “You can charge them at night in your home and there are free public charging stations all across the country.
“Ford Motor Company just partnered with Tesla so the Mach-E and the F150 Lightning can be powered by Tesla chargers as well,” McClure added.
McClure noted that electric vehicles are great for short trips, they are quiet and they are very comfortable.

“During the week you can stop anytime,” McClure noted. “The salesmen are ready, they will do a walk around with you and take you on a test drive.”
