UNION CITY – We kicked off our DD Awareness school visits by assisting Mississinawa Valley Elementary School with their DD Awareness Days.
Kids visited various stations and got to experience hands-on activities to see what it might be like to live with a disability.
We would like to give many thanks to the administration and staff who put in a lot of hard work setting up the event and coordinating all of the activities – we just showed up to help.
The kids had a blast and learned a lot about inclusion and acceptance. Thank you for putting on this very important and fun event!
