DARKE COUNTY – On Apr 22 the Darke County Holstein 4-H club held their April 4-H meeting at Kellers Feed Mill at 8 pm.
The meeting was called to order and a member made a health and safety report. Members were reminded to pay dues and for record books. Trash Bash was on April 20. Thank you to anyone who participated. We had 10 teams out cleaning the Couty Roads.
4-H Camp is June 9-13 at Indian Hill 4-H Camp if you are interested in applying for a campership contact Merecedes at the the 4-H office. Dairy Skillaton is on June 18, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Keller’s and June 24, 7-9 p.m. also at Keller’s.
On April 27, at 9 am and 11 am, the Darke County Jr. Fair Sale Committee is hosting two informational meetings conceding the new online sale process at the Birchwood Training Center (former Anthony Wayne building). Roger Hunker of BW Final Drive, will be discussing how the new online sale process will work and answering any questions you might have. This meeting is for buyers, parents, and Jr. Fair exhibitors.
Our next scheduled meeting was May 27, however this is Memorial Day so we moved it a week earlier to May 20. At that meeting, members need to give demonstrations either as a team or individually.
