TROTWOOD – WOAC swimmers compete at OHSAA sectional swim meet at Trotwood High School and several advanced to the district swim meet at Miami University.
Darke County had several swimmers competing at the Girls Trotwood section swim meet and the district swim meet at Miami University.
The Versailles girls swim team did well enough to send swimmers to the state meet at CT Branin Natatorium in Canton, OH currently underway February 18-22.
For the Tigers is Ava Shardo qualified for the 100-yard butterfly and both Ava & her sister Salimah will compete in the 50-yard freestyle.
The Shardo duo also qualified for two relay races with teammates Erin Frederick and Ella Porter in the 200-yard medley relay and the 200-yard freestyle with teammates Corynn Goubeaux and Erin Frederick.
