DARKE COUNTY – Darke County Civic Theater proudly presents its 10th Annual Family Production on March 29th and 30th at St. Clair Memorial Hall in Greenville.
This year’s show is entitled ‘Once Upon a Wisper Winds’ and is written by DCCT’s President and show’s director Christopher Chapa and is joined by Kianna Dishman, the production’s assistant director.
The story follows the Cooper family, led by parents Ben (Chapa) and Julie (Heather Costa), along with their three daughters (Bella Enicks, Rylee McMahan, and Piper Widener) as they are transported into their youngest family member’s storybook. Once there, they meet popular book characters, like the Royals (Samuel Ploch, Rose Liette, and Ciara Eversman) and surprise characters, such as Evil Queen Emilia (Rachel Francis) and her daughter, Venus (Kennedy Guillozet).
The family is set on an adventure to help the residents of Wisper Winds (Parker Francis, Andrew Krickenbarger, and Georgia Wetzel) return to normal before a curse was placed over the land by Queen Emilia by defeating the protectors of Wisper Winds (Isa Costa, Noelia Lucera, and Reagan Webb). Will the Coopers be successful and be able to return home?
The cast also features Sofia Harsh, Kaiya Krickenbarger, Nili Rami, Adeline Rairden, Jessica Setser, and Aryanna Stewart. Kylie Voisard returns as lead stage manager for the production – with additional crew members: Ron Asman (lights), Connie DeSchepper (props), Jeff Francis (sets), Maria Hathaway (stage crew), Nicole Scott (marketing), Laura Schafer (costume designer), and Kari Thompson (sound).
This production is great for the whole family!
