Darke County boys compete in sectional, district swim tourney

TROTWOOD – Darke County swimmers competed at the OHSAA sectional swim meet at Trotwood High School with several advancing to the district swim meet held at Miami University Aquatic Center in Oxford, Ohio.

The Versailles boys team was one of the top teams at the sectional meet winning 1st place in the 200 yard freestyle relay and 2nd place in the 200 yard medley relay.  Dylan Dunn was an individual 1st place winner in the 100 yard breaststroke.

Ansonia Swimmer Gavin Stachler took 1st place in the 100 yard backstroke and 200 yard IM. He would record school record times in both races.

None of the swimmers who competed in district meet qualified for the state meet this year.
