DARKE COUNTY – The theme was dress crazy and the winners were Charlee Hartle, Leo and Jessa Barga. The guest speakers were Jessica Brookhart and Denna Langenkamp. They spoke about the importance of hydration for humans and animals.
The club also selected the 2026 T-shirt design. There were two designs submitted and the design winner was Charlee Hartle.
The club also held 2026 royalty elections. The elected king is Carson Bergman and the prince is JJ Vocke. The Queen is Charlotte Barga and the Princess is Emily Jamison. They will represent the club in parades and hand out ribbons at the fair. Recreation was an egg relay.
The Darke County 4-H Beef Club’s next meeting will be at the home of Paige Gehert on April 7, 2026, at 7 p.m.
