DARKE COUNTY – Crews responded to a field located on the 3900 block of SR 502 on a reported individual down in a field. There were reports of a firearm recovered on or near the subject at the scene.
After discovering the male was believed to be deceased, the Darke County Coroner’s Office was immediately requested to the scene.
The investigation into this tragic incident is ongoing. At this time, the cause of death has not been confirmed.
