GREENVILLE— The Darke County Board of Commissioners met on Tuesday afternoon to approve Job & Family Services and service agreements. Commissioners Matt Aultman, Marshall Combs and Larry Holmes were present.
The board approved Resolution (R-150-2023), for two transfers of appropriations.
For the first transfer, $300 will come out of the General Fund to pay for a Darke County Coroner vehicle maintenance bill.
The second, will involve $70,000 from Outside Funds to pay for an unanticipated program expense within the is for the Darke County Job and Family Services.
“It’s going to be on a per family that falls within a certain income level, approximately going to be $200.00 per family for back-to-school expenses,” Commissioner Aultman said.
The board then approved Resolution (R-151-2023), which amended Resolution (R-80-96).
This established a new Tap-In-Fee for Stillwater Estates. The last time Resolution was reviewed was on August 7, 1996, establishing a $70 quarter maintenance fee per dwelling and a tap-in fee of $200.
The board approved a change of the tap-in fee and increased the price to $2,000. This resolution is effective immediately.
Next, the board approved three Comfort Systems USA agreements: Maintenance Renewal agreements.
The first is for the Darke County Courthouse, effective January 1, 2023, through December 31, 2023, with an annual agreement price of $1,212.
The second is Garst Government Center, effective through the same dates with the annual agreement price of $3,199. for the period. The final is the Sheriff’s Department, effective through the same dates with the annual agreement price of $3,167.
“This here is an ongoing agreement with Comfort Systems,” Commissioner Aultman said. “They have been a good contractor for us for many years.”
Lastly, the board approved Resolution (R-152-2023).
The board authorizes the service contract expenditures to the Darke County Juvenile Court for Clerking Services through this.
