Commissioners talk airport, Wayne HealthCare

GREENVILLE—The Darke County Board of Commissioners met on Tuesday afternoon to discuss the Darke County Airport and Wayne HealthCare. Commissioners Matt Aultman, Marshall Combs and Larry Holmes were present.

The board approved Contract (C-1-2023), in which Wayne HealthCare agreed to provide chest x-ray services as required as a part of treatment of persons with active tuberculosis, as defined in 339.71 of the Ohio Revised Code, or made at the request of the Darke County Tuberculosis Control Unit, as a part of an investigation being conducted by the unit.

The board agreed to pay Wayne HealthCare $75 per x-ray. The agreement is effective for a period of one year from Jan. 1, 2023 to Dec. 31, 2023.

Next, the board approved Resolution (R-23-2023), in which the DC Commmissioners and Airport, requested a fund advance of $308,504.40, be completed to cover the work Westerheide Construction performed through Dec. 31, 2022.

The revenue will advance back once grant funds are received.
