GREENVILLE—The Darke County Board of Commissioners met on Tuesday afternoon to discuss the Darke County Airport and Gettysburg School. Commissioners Matt Aultman, Marshall Combs and Larry Holmes were all present.
The board accepted a proposal from Buschur Electric for $81,500 to provide electric service connection in the fuel tank at the Darke County Airport, in Versailles.
The board noted that Buscher is providing electric service for the new terminal, so it made sense to keep the other electric work on site with them.
Then, the board approved a funding consultation services agreement between the board and Key Funding Services, Inc.
Key Funding Services, Inc. will perform grant preparation, administration and program consultant services related to the Brownfield Revitalization Program for the Gettysburg School partial demolition project.
Phase I of the project will include a compensation of $5,000, and the compensation for Phase II of the project is not to exceed an hourly amount of $13,500.
The Darke County Board of Commissioners hold regular session every Tuesday and Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at 520 South Broadway, Greenville, Ohio 45331. For more information contact the commissioner’s office at 937-547-7370.
