Commissioners approve change order for the Darke County Airport
GREENVILLE – The Darke County Board of Commissioners met on Tuesday afternoon to discuss the 2023 Summer Holiday Enforcement Grant, the new 2023 Healthy Aging Grant, a change order for the Darke County Airport, and more.
Commissioners Matt Aultman, Marshall Combs, and Larry Holmes were present.
The board approved Resolution (R-406-2023). This is through the 2023 Summer Holiday Enforcement Grant with the Darke County Sheriff and transfers $13,610.25 back into the General Fund.
The board also approved Resolution (R-407-2023). This is a revenue and appropriation increase from the new 2023 Healthy Aging Grant. This increases revenue and appropriations both by $210,370.
The board then approved a change order for the Darke County Airport’s Terminal Area Development. This adds $60,734.76 to the contract for a new total contract price of $2,125,734.76.
The board also approved vehicle maintenance agreements with the City of Greenville, Sheriff Auxiliary, and the Village of Union City, Ohio. This allows Maintenance, service, and repair on Greenville City vehicles, Sheriff Auxiliary vehicles, and Union City Vehicles.
The board then approved a Water Pollution Control Loan Fund Agreement. This is between the Darke County Commissioners for Ft. Jefferson Sanitary Sewer and the Ohio EPA. This is for the Fort Jefferson New Collection System Project. The loan will total $25,000.
A reminder that the regular session scheduled for Thursday, December 7, is canceled due to the County Commissioners Association Conference. Their next meeting will be Tuesday, December 12, at 1:30 pm.
