Commissioners approve three expense requests

DARKE COUNTY – The Darke County Board of Commissioners met Tuesday afternoon. Commissioners Matt Aultman, Marshall Combs, and Aaron Flatter were all present.

Under Resolution (R-50-2025), the Examination and Allowance of Bills dated February 6, 2025, and February 11, 2025, was read and approved. The General Fund was $70,495.28; outside general funds were $38,857.14, for a Grand Total of $109,352.42.

Tina McGillvary provided an update for the OSU Extension.

Commissioners approved the Wayne Township New Designee-County Board of Zoning Appeals.

The Wayne Twp. Trustees recommended Terry Knapke for a partial term from 2/11/2025 to 2/28/2027.

Commissioners also received a letter from Ohio State University – canceling the remaining of the Intergovernmental Agreement.

“This letter is a mutual agreement,” said Commissioner Aultman. “To cancel the remaining year in the agreement.”

Commissioners also approved three expense requests.

Adam Crumley will be attending the Virtual Reality Instructor Course in Nelsonville, Ohio on February 24-26, 2025. The estimated total is $705.00.

Mindy Saylor & Ken Johnson will be attending the Ohio EMA Directors Conference in Columbus, Ohio on February 2-3, 2025. The estimated total for the two is $560.00.

Thomas Pitman, Var Gehron, Kriann Franck, and Cynthia Bruner will be attending OSACVO in Columbus, Ohio on March 7, 2025. The estimated total for the four is $200.00.

Under Resolution (R-53-2025), the Commissioners reviewed and approved an agreement with Accurate Controls, Inc. and Darke County Sheriff.

“ACI agrees to perform services for the client’s security automation systems, Installed by ACI at the Client’s facility located at 5185 County Home Rd, Greenville, OH 45331.”

Commissioners also signed a Proclamation for National Work Zone Awareness Week April 21st -25th.
