DARKE COUNTY – On Friday at approximately 10:25 p.m., Darke County Deputies, along with Gettysburg Fire & Rescue and CareFlight were dispatched to the 7800 block of New Harrison Bradford Road in reference to a single vehicle accident with injury.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2003 Toyota Corolla being operated by Jesse Clark (28) of Bradford was traveling west on New Harrison Bradford. Clark failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the right side of the road. Clark struck a tree, which then fell onto the car. He was extricated from the vehicle mechanically and transported to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight.
Alcohol is a suspected contributing factor. This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
