To enter the event children must be between the age of three and five by or on July 26, 2023. Contestants were judged on originality of attire, outfit, appropriate to Annie and Bill theme, personality, poise, and stage presence.

General questions asked to each of the contestants included: What is your name and how old are you, what is your favorite thing to do and what do you want to be when you grow up.

“Good crowd and the questions – they have fun, that’s what it’s all about,” said even organizer, Marla Werner. “Getting them some exposure in front of people and having fun with it and hopefully this weekend they can go in the parade – all of them go in the parade, not just the winner.”

A good crowd was on hand as well as a large number of contestants for the evening’s event.

“When I started doing this three years ago we had four or five contestants, so I really wanted to promote it and grow it a little bit,” stated Werner. “I think we did that tonight.”

Piper Arnold took first place in the Most Photogenic Contest.
