GREENVILLE – Dick Brown, a proud Greenville Green Wave Alumni, was honored during the Friday Night Lights Monte Carlo Night, the fundraising event hosted by the Greenville Football Parents Committee.
Brown is well known for his unwavering support of “everything Green Wave”. His passion for preserving and sharing the history of the Greenville Schools, distributing information on class reunions, and photographing special moments from proms to parades is appreciated by many. He is especially fond of all Green Wave Athletics.
Dick was presented with a very special moment tonight for his support of Green Wave Football and the GHS’s beautiful new stadium.
A framed print showing several photos of the stadium over the years, one of which is of the original stadium from 1937. The print is encapsulated in a plexiglass cube that includes two pieces of concrete from the original stadium seating, placed on a piece of turf from the old field.
