HOUSTON – The No. 9 seed Bradford Lady Railroaders gave the No. 1 seed Southeastern Lady Trojans all they wanted in dropping a 7-5 OHSAA DVII tournament game to the team from South Charleston.
The Lady Trojans jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first with Bradford getting a run back in the top of the second on a solo home run to right off the bat of Lilly Canan.
The Lady Roaders grabbed a 5-3 lead in the top of the third with a Southeastern error plating three runs and an Addy Mills run-scoring single.

The teams played a scoreless fourth inning before a Lady Trojans’ home run in the bottom of the fifth knotted the score at 5-5. Southeastern tacked on two runs in the bottom of the sixth, advancing the Lady Trojans in tournament play.
Both teams had 6 hits for 3 errors on the night.

Vivian Harlemen took the loss for Bradford, allowing 2 earned runs on 6 hits, 1 walk, and 1 strikeout.
Addy Mills paced the Lady Railroaders at the plate, going 2-3 with a walk and an RBI. Canan was 1-3, including a home run, a walk, 1 RBI, 2 runs; Chloe Hocker 1-4, 1 run; V. Harlemen 1-2, 2 walks, 1 run.

Bradford closes out the season with an 11-16 overall record and 6-5 in the WOAC.
