DARKE COUNTY – On Sunday at approximately 10:31 am, Darke County Deputies, along with Greenville Township Rescue, Greenville Fire Department, Greenville City Police and Greenville Township Fire, responded to US 127 and Kruckeberg Road in reference to a two-vehicle injury accident.
Preliminary investigation revealed a blue 2014 Toyota Camry driven by Denise Best (71) of Arcanum was stopped in traffic northbound on US 127, attempting to turn westbound onto Kruckeberg Road. Best failed to yield to a southbound 2017 GMC 1500 driven by Donald Spencer Jr (58) of Greenville when the vehicles collided.
Best was transported to Wayne HealthCare by Greenville Township Rescue with minor injuries. Spencer and his passenger, Teresa Spencer, were treated and released from the scene.
