DARKE COUNTY – Applications are now open for funds available from the Ketrow Foundation. For charitable agencies and organizations located within Darke County, these funds can create opportunities to give back to the local community. One such example is 2023 Ketrow award recipient Radiant Lighthouse Church, who used the funds to pour a concrete pad outside of their highly used food pantry. This pad will be used to facilitate the delivery of supplies to the pantry for those in need.
Organizations requesting funds must have a physical location in Darke County and be organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes, with all funds received from the Ketrow Foundation to be dedicated for use in Darke County. The organization must be qualified for tax exemption under the Internal Revenue Code. Recipients of distribution from the Ketrow Foundation shall be determined exclusively at the discretion of the Trustee.
Forms for the request of distribution may be obtained by contacting the Ketrow Foundation. THE REQUESTS MUST BE RECEIVED BY FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2024 AT 5:00 P.M. The address and telephone number of the Foundation’s principal office are:
