ANSONIA – On Thursday, September 10th, the Ansonia FFA hosted their first meeting of the school year. Members grilled hot dogs and hamburgers for lunch and students were also provided chips, a drink and ice cream sandwiches.
At the meeting, they gave committee reports, recapped the summer activities and informed the students of the upcoming opportunities in the program.
Carson Tobe was recognized as the September member of the month. Carson submitted 3 woodworking projects to the Darke County Fair Shop & Crop. His large American Flag created out of wood and stained won the overall shop project prize. Carson used his tools and wonderful talent at home over the summer. His determination and hard work on it are admired.
