ANSONIA—The Ansonia Elementary School January students of the month are third graders Ashlyn Smith and Lincoln Baker.
Ashlyn exhibits many of the monthly character traits that we’ve discussed this year. She perseveres through her daily classroom assignments, even when they’re challenging. She shows joy when interacting with her classmates and teachers. She cheers on her peers and encourages them to do their best. Ashlyn is a positive role model for all Ansonia Tigers!
Lincoln demonstrates excellent behavior inside and outside of the classroom, is well mannered and respectful to peers and teachers. Lincoln is always eager to learn and has really started sharing his ideas and participating in class more often. Lincoln is committed to being successful and he has proven that by being one of our top leaders in passing Ready lessons.
