GREENVILLE – A Colonial and Continental Currency collection will be displayed at the 59th Annual Darke County Coin Club Show in honor of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Some of the notable notes were signed by Declaration of Independence signers. Benjamin Franklin printed one of the notes, and an example of a counterfeit 1793 Bank of America note is one of the rare highlights of the collection.

This collection has never been on display before. Some handouts will explain the brief history of early U.S. currency.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase, door prizes, and a raffle drawing for a gold coin at the conclusion of the event. Raffle tickets may be purchased at the show or before by calling Robert at 937-621-0661 or John at 937-417-6728.

The annual coin/collectibles show is free to the public and will showcase numerous dealers displaying tables of coins, currency, stamps, and other collectibles available for purchase or sale.

The event will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2025, at Paws Bingo, 848 Martin Street, Greenville, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
