Alice June Knick born May 21, 1931, went on to be with the Lord on April 19, 2024, at 2:00 pm. She is the daughter of the late David Riley and Mabel G. (Warren) Dunevant. She married the love of her life Robert L. (Bob) Knick on September 30, 1950, at St. John Lutheran Church. She worked at the Welfare Department as a bookkeeper retiring at the age of 62. Soon, the work bug bit again and she took a part-time job at the Daily Advocate as a typist for the newspaper. She was a member of the Ansonia United Methodist Church and enjoyed being part of the choir as well. Alice finally stepped away from the workforce to spend time with hubby Robert L. Knick playing cards and planning short weekend trips with their many friends. She enjoyed traveling and looked forward to each and every road trip they took. Some people may not know this but, Alice enjoyed writing poetry and one has been chosen to share with you.

Knick; Brothers: Harley, Charles and Ward Dunevant; Sisters: Ruby Palser, Mary Barnhardt and Leona (Toni) Hale; Niece: Pamela (Pam) Hart; Nephew Greg Feurer; sisters-in-law Betty Hart, Patricia (Patty) Sells and Pat Dunevant; Brothers in law Dean Hart and Junior Sells; Nephews: Ward (Junior) Dunevant and Kenneth (Kenny) Dunevant and Daughter in law: Kimberly (Kimmie) Knick
She is survived by her children: Bruce Allen Knick, Sharon Ann (Knick) Shelley; Grandchildren Brad (Shelley) Knick; Annessa Marie (Troutwine) Rodemich and Fiancé Troy Widmer; Great Granddaughters Pressly Chrisann Rodemich and Zoey Josephine Knick; Ex Grandson-in-law Jason Rodemich; Her precious fur baby Nicky Knick, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Private viewing will be held for the family. A public graveside service celebration will be officiated by Pastor Kelly Moody at Greenville Township Memorial Garden on May 1, 2024, at 11:00 am where she will be laid to rest. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to EverHeart Hospice or the charity of your choice.
