A Presentation on “Last Things” Preparing for Death and Burial

GREENVILLE – St. John Lutheran Church is hosting a presentation open to the community on Preparing for Death and Burial. This seminar will be informative, thought-provoking, and an opportunity to consider stewardship in light of death. The Rev. Charlie Brumbaugh, an Episcopal priest, will be giving the presentation.

The Church encourages us to think and talk with one another about death now – instead of waiting for the moment of crisis. Such pre-planning yields a multitude of blessings – for ourselves, and for those we love! There will be much to learn, and many stories to tell, as we consider ever-changing Christian perspectives on death, grief, burial practices, rites of burial, and stewardship in death.

Join us at St. John Lutheran Church, 7418 St. Rt. 121 N. Greenville, OH 45331 on Saturday, August 15 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, with a lunch provided.

This event is free to attend, but registration is required by August 9. Register by emailing the church at stjohnluthoffice@gmail.com or calling the office at (937) 548-5404.
