GREENVILLE – In a powerful display of hometown generosity, Greenville Masonic Lodge No. 143 is celebrating a major milestone in its 2026 fight against hunger: 4,180 pounds of food collected to support families across Darke County.
The latest delivery—325 pounds donated to the Fish Food Pantry on October 14—adds to a growing wave of community support that has transformed a simple food drive into a countywide movement.
A County That Shows Up. Behind every can, box, and bag is a neighbor choosing kindness. Families, individuals, and local supporters have stepped forward in remarkable numbers, proving that Darke County refuses to let its own go hungry. The Lodge credits this success to the community at large and extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated, shared information, or encouraged others to give. These acts of generosity reflect the Masonic principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth—brought to life through action, not ceremony.
Our Next Food Drive is November 14th.
The mission continues with another major event: COMMUNITY FOOD DRIVE, DONUTS WITH SANTA AND A CRAFT BAZAAR on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 9:00 AM–2:00 PM at the Greenville Masonic Lodge No. 143 at 200 Memorial Drive in Greenville.
Requested items include canned vegetables, fruits, soups, boxed meals, pasta, cereal, peanut butter, and other nonperishables. Every donation, whether a single can or several bags, goes directly to the Fish Food Pantry.
You don’t need to be a Mason to participate. You only need a desire to help your neighbors.
More Than Food—It’s Hope. Hunger affects families from every walk of life. A bag of groceries can mean relief, dignity, and reassurance that someone cares. The partnership between the Lodge, Fish Food Pantry, and the people of Darke County shows what happens when a community chooses compassion.
Thank you Darke County for your continued support in helping our Lodge to relieve our community.
