From Rifle Sights to Equal Rights: Annie Oakley’s Fight for Women’s Equality

GREENVILLE – In 1926, Darke County lost its most famous daughter. One hundred years later, the Garst Museum invites you to celebrate the life and legacy of Annie Oakley with a special centennial program. Administrative Director Cait Clark will explore Oakley’s lasting impact on women’s rights from demanding equal pay to volunteering a women’s unit for World War I and beyond on Saturday, October 17, at 2 p.m.

Tea and light refreshments will be served. Free for museum members; $5 for non-members.

Please let us know that you will attend by Thursday, October 15, at Caitlyn.clark@garstmuseum.org
