FAIRBORN — Greenville closed its boys golf regular season with a 161-182 Miami Valley League victory over Fairborn at Twin Base Golf Course on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
Hayden Null led the Green Wave with a 37, and Brody Weaver shot a 38. Freshman Harper Kerns added a 41, while Braxton Moore and Hayden Burns each shot 45. Braylon Byers finished with a 49.
“We played pretty decent again last night under some not-so-pleasant conditions,” Greenville coach Brian Stickel said. “Hayden and Brody played really well, and freshman Harper Kerns had a really solid round.”
JD Rohller led Fairborn with a 38. Owen Lawderman shot 44, Wade Ehrisman 48, Avery Reed and Landon Hall 52 apiece, and Jonah Fulton 68.
Greenville finished the regular season 8-5 overall and 5-3 in the MVL. Stickel said the team has Wednesday to work on a few things before sectional and MVL tournament play.
“All in all, it was a very good season for the boys,” Stickel said.
