GREENVILLE – Darke County Center for the Arts (DCCA) is reviving a little spookiness from the formerly held Ghost Walks with a free screening of the movie Hocus Pocus at St. Clair Memorial Hall on October 1.
In this 1993 Disney favorite, pranksters conjure up three wild witches from seventeenth-century Salem for a night of zany fun and comic chaos. The movie is rated PG.
This feature-length film is presented in partnership with the America 250 program, Ohio Goes to the Movies, which highlights Ohio’s ties to the big screen. Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays the role of an air-headed witch, was born in Nelsonville, Ohio.
This is a free event open to the public, and no ticket is required. Doors to the theatre will open at 6:30 pm and the movie will begin at 7:00 pm. Spooky treat bags will be given to children in attendance while supplies last. Guests are welcome to wear costumes if they wish.
