GREENVILLE – Greenville Public Library is giving young artists a place to create, experiment, and let their imaginations run wild with the launch of a new Kids Art Club beginning in September.
The Kids Art Club will meet on the second Thursday of each month from 4:30–5:30 p.m. and is designed for children ages 8–12. Each month, participants will have the opportunity to explore a variety of art projects and creative techniques in a fun, relaxed library setting.
The new club is being launched by Children’s Librarian Ashley Cook, who is excited to bring more hands-on creative opportunities to the library’s young patrons.
“Kids Art Club is a chance for kids to explore their creativity, try new things, and have fun making art,” said Cook. “There’s no need to be a professional artist—just come ready to create!”
The first Kids Art Club meeting will be held Thursday, September 10 from 4:30–5:30 p.m. at Greenville Public Library. The club will continue meeting on the second Thursday of each month.
Whether they love to draw, paint, build, experiment, or simply want to try something new, Kids Art Club gives young artists a space to create and connect with other kids who share their imagination.
