UNION CITY – The Mississinawa Valley boys Golf team is off to a good start in 2026 winning the 5th Annual Union City Classic.
The boys defeated Tri-Village by two strokes firing a team score of 169. Jaxin Beanblossom was match medalists with a low round of 37. Beanblossom being the only senior is the leader of the team and returns with big game experience.
Helping out the team this year is a very improved sophomore class after working on their game over the summer.

The Blackhawks started the season off on July 29th at the Richmond Elks Country Club in the Western Ohio Athletic Conference Golf Preview. Beanblossom led the way in the 18-hole event carding an 80, Bentley Manning 90, Casen Gower a 91, Cade Seubert 96, Cole Hanes 108, Gavin Rehmert 110.
Mississinawa is back in action on Friday again playing at Richmond Elks against the home team National Trail.
