DARKE COUNTY – The Darke County Junior Fair Poultry Department is excited to announce that Grant Subler has been selected as the winner of this year’s Poultry Department T-shirt Design Contest. Grant’s creative design was chosen from 18 outstanding entries submitted by talented youth exhibitors. The judges had a difficult decision, as every design showcased the creativity and pride our exhibitors have in the poultry project.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, every poultry exhibitor will receive a complimentary 2026 Poultry Department T-shirt. This would not be possible without the support of those who donated through our annual basket sales and other generous contributions. Their continued support helps make the fair experience even more memorable for our youth.
We invite everyone to stop by the Poultry Barn during the Darke County Fair to see Grant’s winning design proudly displayed on our exhibitors. The Market Poultry Show will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, and the Fancy Poultry Show will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 23.
We are excited to see our exhibitors wearing their new shirts throughout the fair and hope everyone will stop by to cheer on these hardworking young poultry enthusiasts.
