GREENVILLE – The Legendary Rolling 50’s Classics Annual Father’s Day Spectacular Car Show and Swap Meet welcomed hundreds of automotive enthusiasts as vehicles spanning more than a century filled the show grounds for a day of competition, fellowship, and family fun.
The event featured 18 judged classes representing everything from early 1900s automobiles to 2026 models, along with Pro Street vehicles, Kit Cars, foreign cars, trucks, and motorcycles. New for 2026 was the addition of Valve Cover Races, which provided another attraction for participants and spectators alike.

The Rolling 50’s Classics organization presented 54 trophies during the event, recognizing outstanding vehicles across the various classes.
“Last year we had 300 and some cars, and they are still coming in good today,” said Rolling 50’s Car Club Treasurer Gwindelin Fourman. “It’s a nice, beautiful day for it.”
With favorable weather and a steady stream of entries throughout the day, organizers were pleased with the turnout and community support.

While the Father’s Day Spectacular was a success, club members are already looking ahead to their largest event of the year.
“Our big one is coming up on September 12th, downtown on Broadway,” Fourman said. “Last year we had almost 600 cars down there.”
The 44th Annual Fall Cruise-In is scheduled for Sept. 12, 2026, in downtown Greenville. The event will run from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., with trophies awarded at 8 p.m. Activities will include a DJ, food vendors, and a 50/50 drawing.

Fourman credited the success of the club’s events to the dedication of its members and sponsors.
“I want to thank all of our members for putting in double-duty,” said Fourman, “and a big shoutout to all of our trophy sponsors because without them we couldn’t do this.”
Beyond showcasing classic automobiles, the Rolling 50’s Classics Car Club continues its mission of giving back to the community.

“Whenever we make money, it all goes back to charity in Darke County,” Fourman noted.
The club supports numerous local organizations through its fundraising efforts, including the Darke County Cancer Society, Top Priority Veterans, Darke County Shriners, and the Boys & Girls Club of Greenville.
Through events such as the Father’s Day Spectacular and the upcoming Fall Cruise-In, the Rolling 50’s Classics Car Club continues to combine a passion for classic vehicles with a commitment to serving the Darke County community.
