GREENVILLE – Both Greenville Lady Wave Jr. High softball teams were victorious Monday night in MVL play on their home turf, as both the eighth-grade team and seventh-grade team remain undefeated, both having an overall record of 8-0 after the games.
The eighth-grade Lady Wave faced off against the Xenia Lady Buccaneers, as the Lady Wave struggled in the first three innings, but managed to warm up the bats in the fifth inning and gain the win over Xenia with a final score of 9-8. The eighth grade is coached by Jeff Shilt and Christy Hole.
The seventh-grade Lady Wave took on the Stebbins Lady Indians and had no trouble with hitting Monday evening, as they gained a run-rule win over the Stebbins Lady Indians with a final score of 13-3. The seventh-grade coaches are Cassie Cromwell and Tyler Hinkle.
Both Jr. High teams are riddled with nervousness and excitement for Tuesday night’s matchup, which will be the battle between the eighth-grade Team Green and the seventh-grade Team White. The winning team will certainly boast bragging rights at the Middle School come Wednesday morning. The Green and White game will be played on the Middle School diamonds on Tuesday, April 14th, with first pitch at 5:30 pm.

Team members of the Greenville White (Seventh Grade) are Baylee Andorfer, Kinsley Barger, Presley Case, Katheryn Gibson, Kelby Hangen, Auvrie Hawkey, Addi Hickey, Maci Hinkle, Kennedy Moore, Paisley Muir, Caliah Rehmert, Amiyah Weatherspoon, and Nadalyn Zimmer.
