DARKE COUNTY – The Greenville Business & Professional Women’s Club (BPW) is now accepting applications for scholarships aimed at supporting Darke County Senior High School students. The scholarships are designed to provide financial assistance to deserving students based on academic merit, financial need, leadership potential, or a combination of these criteria. Eight (8) $1500 scholarships are to be awarded in 2026.
This program seeks to reduce financial barriers to education while encouraging academic excellence and community involvement. ‘We are proud to invest in these young ladies as they pursue their educational goals and become future leaders in their selected career fields, said spokesperson Sue Huston.
The scholarships are open to all Darke County Senior High School girls. Applications can be obtained by contacting the high school guidance counselor. The application deadline is February 13, 2026, at midnight. The applications can be emailed to Alexia Sykes at alexias2010@yahoo.com
Applications are also available for the Anna Britton Scholarship that is granted to a daughter or granddaughter of a BPW member. If there are no contenders, then the scholarship is available for a Versailles Senior High School girl. The application is available through the high school guidance counselor.
