This year marks the fourth year that Spieles Troutwine Fout (STF) Insurance Group has hosted the Brick Street Block Party in Arcanum.
Friday’s events included a Pulled Pork Meal, Food Trucks, Beer Tent, Stein Holding, Cornhole Tournament, DJ Ari.
Saturday’s events included a Pickleball Tournament, Acanuman Cheerlears 5K Run, Poker Run / Kickstands Up, Kid Zone, Food Trucks, Beer Tent, Kiddie Tractor Pull, Car Show, Egg Drop Contest, 1 Summer Band, Music Bingo, Chet Jameson.
Saturday also brought the closing act for the weekend event, the band Joe Hess and The Wandering Cowboys.
“The proceeds all stay within the Give Thanks Foundation, so the proceeds stay within either Arcanum or Darke County,” Tracy Fout of STF Insurance Group said. “We give back to charitable organizations like food banks and athletic groups and try to keep it all local.”
There was an excellent turnout for many of the events. The 5K Run made a comeback this year and was well-liked; the Car Show brought many people and cool cars, the food trucks got great support from the community, and the Give Thanks Pulled Pork Meal donations did amazingly.
Fout is excited to keep this event going every year.
“We can absolutely look forward to a fifth year,” Fout said. “We’ll keep on plugging away and trying to grow this and add more. We try to add a new event every year.”
This event made for a fun weekend and brought money to great local causes. The excitement continues to grow as anticipation builds for what will be added to this wonderful event in the years to come.
